Movie Time
So I watched a few movies today. And to be honest, they kind of brought the suck. And these were movies that I had heard of. But they still sucked. They were, in no particular order--
Superbad
The Bourne Ultimatum
Balls of Fury
They just did not rock at all. Bourne was a throwaway. Just an action movie that actually felt more like a chapter in a story rather than a story unto itself. It was like watching hour 15 of a season of 24. It was good but was not the whole story.
Superbad was just not funny. I had heard it was funny but it really wasn't. There were a couple a funny things in it but overall. Not funny. Knocked up was better, not great, but better. I havn't seen the "40 Year Old Virgin" and this doesn't make me want to. I guess it comes from the same guys. Put it this way, an R-rated movie about some teenagers trying to get laid, with no tits. What the hell is point? And since when in the fuck is it that hard to get booze? What fucking planet were these kids living on. I think if you are so stupid where you go to a school were you are a dork and these two decent looking chicks are into you and think that only by buying booze will you get some. Well, you don't deserve the pussy. Simple as that.
Balls of Fury had a couple of funny things in it as well. And I am starting to be a fan of Maggie Q. She was the Asian chick who beat the shit out of Bruce Willis in "Live Free or Die Hard". In this she is looking quite tasty also. She don't have much to do but it doesn't matter. Someone needs to put her in a good movie as a star or something. Maybe she already has been and I am just not aware. I guess I am a little lite on my IMDB surfing.
And that is all I have for today's movie review. I really didn't do very much. I was on my new computer. So far it rocks. But I don't want to be too happy about it because I am of the opinion that if you are happy, sooner or later, the universe comes along to knock you on your ass. I know that is pessimistic, but that is how I roll.
So it goes. I have two more new Netflix movies to watch tomorrow. "The Simpson's Movie" which I can only assume is just a long Simpson's episode and a movie called "Blood Car" about a car powered by, wait for it...human blood. I think it is a black comedy. Jesus, I think it is really about time to stop the Netflix. I am really getting to middle of the bottom of the barrel. It becomes harder and harder to find good shit to watch.
What do you think? Netflix off, cable on? Sounds good to me. Laterz...
