Drip
OK, it isn't really. But if I was a wrestler I might be named El Diablo. Only if I could wear a mask. There is a long history of wrestlers wearing masks. One I remember from when I was a kid was Mil Mascaras. I think it means Thousand Masks. The coolest thing about that guy was that in the match, if another wrestler went after his mask and pulled it off, Mil always had another mask on underneath. When you are a little kid, shit like that is awesome.
I think when you are a kid, masks are fun. So are gloves. Costumes are cool in general. And don't get me started on capes. Who doesn't love a capes? I think it would be cool to dress as a ninja at least once a week. Not for kinky sex like those people who dress up in a furry animal costumes. That is just a little bit of the freaky. I guess it kind of relates though. The thing about costumes is that it allows you to be someone different for a time. To hide and reinvent yourself. That is why people love Halloween.
To a lesser extent, I think people dress in costumes on a smaller scale everyday. Be it jewelery or high heel shoes or what type of coat you choose. For example, I would love a leather jacket. The wearing of leather has more of a connotation then just warmth. Leather, is dangerous or sexy. It is in essence a second skin. Just as a tangent, I used to love walking by the Wilson's leather store at the mall even when I was a kid. That smell of leather was awesome. I had a pair of leather studded gloves when I was kid that I loved wearing. I would play superhero in them. I always thought of them as like my power gauntlets. I had those gloves for years until they dried out and cracked. Oh well, nothing lasts forever.
Let's talk about current events. Uh...I can't think of anything current that I want to talk about. I am starting not to care about the election coming up. I don't know if I care one way or another if it is Obama or Clinton. I guess McCain is going to get the GOP nomination, then he just has to pick a running mate. I think he should pick Larry the Cable Guy just because that would be a hell of a ticket. McCain and Cable Guy in '08!
With Obama he has to pick someone that is good but not too good because then people might want to kill him. Clinton needs to pick someone really bad because everyone hates her already. Even Hillery's supporters don't really like her. She is not really that likeable of a person. Obama kicks ass in that regard.
He seems to be really likeable especially when he is giving a speech. And his supporters really like him. Hell, they applauded when he blew his nose. It is like a cult of personality. Most of Obama's most fervent supporters don't really support a certain issue that he stands for. They like that Obama is young, energetic, and yes, black. He is new and different on the presidential stage. He is not George W. Bush, he doesn't have the last name Clinton, and he isn't a hypocritical reverend who has no chance of winning. I think when most people see Obama they kind of see a new Kennedy. And that would be JFK not Teddy the fat drunk who killed that girl in the drunk driving accident. Oh, wait, allegedly killed. Have to add that. Wouldn't want to get sued or anything.
Uh oh, I almost had a rant about to get started about the country and the state of it. But I am not going to be doing that.I just don't feel it right now. I mean, I can always bitch and moan about things. That is just what I do. But today, I am not going to do that.(Pause).
OK, took a little pause there. Had to get a few things done while I had the time and the inclination. Threw out some garbage. Tomorrow is garbage day and if I didn't do it today the garbage would just sit until tomorrow. I am trying to clear all this shit out of my way. Cluttered space equals a cluttered mind. Or maybe the cluttered space is a symptom of the cluttered mind. I need to simplify and minimalize.(pause again).
Just did my taxes,and ate, and just popped an Ambien, so I am going to bed. I might post this tomorrow. I am tired and 4am comes quick. Laterzzz...

Ramble rumblings
See this is what I am talking about. This is what pisses me off. Yesterday, I want to watch the SuperBowl. I don't have cable right now but I do have broadband Internet connection. And last time I checked a fucking calender it was the year 2008. So I figure, I should be able to watch the game.
But not so fast there buckeroo. I looked all over, at NFL.com and at Fox.com and nothing. I didn't want to download any torrents or anything like that. I looked all over and finally found a link in a message board. It was what I think is like an Indian website that has streaming video from all over the world. I did have to download a program but that seemed to work OK. (Today the program seemed to fuck up and I had to delete it but it wasn't that big a deal.)
So I did watch the game yesterday. It actually wasn't too bad. Right now while I am typing this I am watching WWE Raw (wrestling) on--
Well, I was watching wrestling. As I was typing it took the opportunity to crap the fuck out. Actually it went from wrestling to fucking cricket. Not the bugs the fucking sport? or whatever you call it. I would have rathered watched the bugs.
Well, after some reloading problems it appears that whoever is running this shit has got there heads out of there asses and has switched the feed from British television to the USA network. They should have done that originally. Fuckers.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I like being able to watch shit online but some of these people need to learn how to present programming better. Isn't the future online? Video on demand and all that? Some of these site, I am looking at you ABCNews.com, make it hard to find what you want to watch.
I must confess, since I have broadband, I haven't exactly "read" as much news as I have been watching it. I guess I am becoming a little lazy in that respect.
You know. I did hear that supposedly, all this VOD shtuff and the future of TV and all that is all bullshit. Supposedly the truth is that there is no way there would be enough bandwidth for everyone to get the level of highspeed internet access to get movies on demand and all that other stuff. And also, supposedly, it will reduce the internet to the level of dial up.
I heard this before and all I could think was, "Bullshit!" If there is money to be made, and a demand for services, companies will come up with a way to supply it. If you don't think so, think of DSL. How does DSL come over the same line as a phone line? Someone at sometime probably said it couldn't be done and then someone else said I will pay you all this cash and then the other person said, "I'll get right on that." Money talks boys and girls and bullshit walks.
Wow, I went on a tangent. I had just wanted to mention about the SuperBowl. Giants won. And living in New England I must say, that it kind of sucks, because I hate the Giants. That has nothing to due with living in New England because I really can't stand the Pats that much either.
When I was a kid I don't remember seeing alot of people wearing Patriots gear. People do wear a lot more sports memorabilia now then they used to but I remember seeing Jets stuff and Giants, Bears, Cowboys, and of course the Raiders. What I am trying to say is that there has been a lot of bandwagon jumping. So if a team has to choke really bad and it's not the Giants, then it is OK that it is the Patriots. Fuck them. Fuck the Giants. Fuck the NFL actually. Next year you millionaire fuckers you better stream the game.
Oh, and the commercials? They sucked.
Also, if you ever catch me paying for a Vitamin Water or any of that kind of thing, (regular Gatorade is excluded under the right circumstances), you have my permission to beat the living hell out of me. Seriously, use all the violence you can muster because I may have lost my mind and need some fucking sense beat into me.
